The flame test went rather well there were many pretty colors and I learned a lot about light as a wave, an emission of energy. The lab was really cool.
Hamming, this lab was so much fun! It was pretty self-explanatory and laid back which was a nice change from previous labs from previous units. I especially liked the colors that were produced. I think my favorite was the firetruck red one because it was such a deep and beautiful red that I was not expecting. This lab also helped me to apply this unit to a fun activity, which was a good way to review wavelength for the quiz.
I agree with Gillian, this lab was super fun. When is burning stuff not fun! I also thought it was nice to see what all the math that we ended up doing actually translated to in physical form.
