Finally an easy quiz

We took a quiz on Friday and for once I can say it went well. We'll see if this becomes a trend. ;)

Spectrometer lab

This lab was not tremendously fun. Basically in this lab we used an analog machine to test how different wavelengths of light transmitted through different chemicals. We have yet to analyse the data. Hopefully then it will get a little more interesting.

Flame Test Lab

The flame test went rather well there were many pretty colors and I learned a lot about light as a wave, an emission of energy. The lab was really cool.

R.I.P. my chem grade

Wow that test was rough. Granted, I didn't have as much time to prepare for it compared to previous tests, but looking back I should have made time. I guess it's come back time. Hopefully the next unit is easier. Hopefully.

Stressed Out

Crystal pine tree

Not so much to do with class but in chem club we made Crystal Christmas trees. I'm really happy with how mine turned out.
