Last day of lab

Today in lab we wrapped up loose ends by weighing our copper and working on the equations linked with this project. Overall I found the lab to be a great hands-on experience with what we learned in class.

Second day of lab where we removed the nail and any liquids from the copper. Now we just need to wait for it to dry.

Amazing Way to do Stoichiometry

Marie found this online and showed it to everyone and I just figured I would spread the news. The method is called the Magic Number Method and it is a great way to check your work since the process is twice as fast as doing Stoichiometry the regular way. Absolutely brilliant!!

The Labs

Here's a few pics from the two land we did for this unit. I really enjoyed these labs as they showed that chemical reactions actually happen and they are not just on paper

Feeling Ok after the test

I've heard from a lot of people that the test was really easy for them. That they were really confident with the test, I however wasn't so comfortable on the test. I had trouble getting in the groove of the test but at least it's over now so... I guess that's a plus.
