Whoops

Today was a practice day for the lab. Our titrations turned out really pink. Hopefully we can do better for the real lab.

pH and Logs

We just started the new lesson and so far it's been ok but we just got to molarity to pH conversion.
This meant that we are utilizing logarithms. It's not difficult but it's not the most pleasant thing in the world. However this video will hopefully save me. :)

Quizzes just came in. I'm off to decent start but from rumors I hear this quarter will be difficult. So far it's been ok but we shall see what happens... I guess

Murder Lab

A few days ago, we did a simulation of a murder case in which we utilized our knowledge of dilutions and chemical reactions to solve the mystery. Lab report is due on Tuesday. I'm excited to see if we're right but also terrified.

Dilution of Food Colouring

Today we did a dilution activity with food colouring and it was tremendously useful in understanding dilution problems. Quiz is on Monday and I am nervous about it since it's covering topics from last semester.
